I am running for the Chugach Electric Association Board of Directors to bring my decades of experience in Alaska’s electric utility sector. I have served as a Commissioner and Manager of Engineering at the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) and as a Project Manager with the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA). My background in regulatory oversight, engineering, and project management makes me a strong and fair candidate for the Board.

 

I have a proven commitment to Chugach, having served as an Interim Board Member, Bylaws Committee Member, and past Member Advisory Committee participant. I remain actively engaged by attending nearly all public meetings concerning Chugach Electric.

 

As a Board member, I will act in the best interest of Members, ensuring reliable service at the lowest possible rates. I will listen to Members’ concerns and advocate for solutions that serve them best. If elected, I will focus on:

 

• Upgrading the transmission grid to enhance reliability and efficiency.

 

• Ensuring a stable and affordable fuel supply, managing short-term and long-term natural gas needs.

 

• Integrating renewable energy sources in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
